IT Technician and Teacher

As a school our goal and objective is to ensure our graduates are not only academically able but that they are also good at hands-on skills. In order to meet this desire, a vacancy for a business-aware IT Technician & Teacher has been created whose responsibilities include:

  • Able to train students in fixing computer hardware and peripherals
  • Teaching Computer Studies to the learners
  • Ability to Teach Business Studies
  • Provision of Support to the Library Information System
  • Design, build and manage the School information system
  • Maintenance of the school network
  • Ensure all work is securely backed up
  • Fix all hardware and software problems that can be encountered
  • Any other delegated by the supervisor

You will possess the following experience, qualifications and attributes:

  • Full Grade 12 certificate
  • Minimum of a diploma in a computer hardware related qualification
  • Minimum of a diploma in Business studies/ Accounts
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in fixing computers
  • Hands-on experience working with Information Technology networks
  • Working knowledge of any SQL language a must
  • Knowledge of software development
  • Teaching experience
